RIDENEAR

End-to-end mobility platform for the United Kingdom — riders, drivers, live maps, and ops under one roof. AWS-backed services, KrakenD at the gateway, and data that keeps pace with the road.

RIDENEAR

Year

2022 — present

Client

RideNear

Location

London, UK

Commissioned for a London-based fleet, RideNear unifies native mobile clients, web consoles, and backend services so every trip is tracked from request to receipt. The stack is built for uptime: NestJS services, PostgreSQL as the ledger of record, Redis for hot state, and KrakenD composing a clean API surface.

We carried the product from foundations to production DevOps — CI, observability, and cloud hardening so the system can grow with new cities and vehicle classes without replatforming.

Today the app remains in active service, absorbing new features as the operation scales across regions.

Project breakdown

  1. 01

    GATEWAY & SERVICES

KrakenD fronts a fleet of NestJS services; TypeScript end-to-end keeps contracts honest from API to app.

  2. 02

    DATA & SCALE

PostgreSQL holds orders and riders; Redis covers sessions and fast paths; AWS hosts the lot with room to burst.

  3. 03

    MOBILE & WEB

Native and web surfaces share the same domain model so dispatch, drivers, and riders never disagree on state.
